This particular group is for women only. The following Breaking The Cycle™ group in 2027 will be open to both women and men.
The course will be facilitated by Chris Tuck, FMAAT, ACMA, CGMA, CEO and founder of Survivors of aBuse . Founded in 2016, SoB is a survivor-led charity empowering adult survivors of abuse to understand the impact of trauma, rebuild their lives and move forward with greater knowledge, confidence and hope.
Chris brings together lived experience, professional expertise, advocacy, training and more than two decades of work in health and wellbeing.
As a survivor of multiple forms of childhood abuse and neglect, including growing up in three homes affected by domestic abuse, Chris understands first-hand the long-term impact trauma can have on a person’s mental, emotional and physical health, relationships and wider life.
Chris’s work is driven by a simple belief: survivors should not be defined by what happened to them, and with the right understanding, education and support, there can be life after abuse.
