We are especially grateful for regular donations to help us continue to provide support for survivors in need. Every donation makes a difference, no matter how small. Monthly or regular ongoing donations enables us to plan ahead and support more survivors.

If you are a UK tax payer you can sign a Gift Aid Declaration it will boost donations by 25% at no additional cost to donors. For example a £10 donation can be boosted £12.50, a monthly £10 donation can be boosted to £160 a year.

At One in Four (London), we specialise in supporting childhood survivors and current survivors of sexual violence, domestic violence, abuse and trauma and raising awareness of this challenging issue.

By donating or fundraising for One In Four, you are helping us support those on their recovery journey, enabling them to move from being survivors to thrivers.

One in Four (London) commits to ensuring we embody these principles in practice and that our donors and prospective donors can have full confidence that they will:  

  • Be informed of the organisation’s mission, and of the way the organisation intends to use donated resources. 
  • Be informed of the identity of those serving on the organisation’s governing board, and that the board will exercise prudent judgement in its stewardship responsibilities. 
  • Have access to the organisation’s most recent financial statements. 
  • Be assured your gifts will be used for the purposes for which they were given. Receive appropriate acknowledgement and recognition. 
  • Be assured that information about your donation is handled with respect and with confidentiality to the extent provided by law. 
  • Expect that all relationships with individuals representing the charity will be dealt with professionally. 
  • Be informed whether those seeking donations are volunteers, employees of the organisation, or third-party agents fundraising on behalf of One in Four.
  • Have easily available the agreed policy and procedures for making and responding to complaints regarding fundraising.  
  • Have the opportunity for any names to be deleted from mailing lists and to be informed if the organisation intends to share the mailing lists with any third parties. 
  • Receive prompt, truthful and forthright answers to questions you might have of the organisation.
