One in Four is one of the UK’s leading charities, with over 21 years’ experience of specialising in the long-term recovery support for adults and children who have a lived experience and survived sexual abuse and violence. We are a charity reliant on grants and donations.

You can support us in a range of ways – donate, fundraise or purchase a One in Four product.

People affected by abuse turn to One in Four for support and healing. So donate to One In Four and make a difference.

We are especially grateful for regular donations to help us continue to provide support for survivors in need. Every donation makes a difference, no matter how small. Monthly or regular ongoing donations enables us to plan ahead and support more survivors

Make a Donation

You can make one off and recurring donations to One in Four HERE 

We particularly welcome regular gifts monthly gifts which offer us flexibility to develop the service.

If you are a UK tax payer you can sign a Gift Aid Declaration it will boost donations by 25% at no additional cost to donors. For example a £10 donation can be boosted £12.50, a monthly £10 donation can be boosted to £160 a year.

Run a Half Marathon for us!!

One in Four Half Marathon places available!

Run for One in Four along Brighton Beach front 1st March 2026! It is a brilliant event where you can challenge yourself and raise vital funds for survivors at the same time.

Running for One in Four will give you a free charity place at this well supported and established running event. In return we will support you in your fundraising and be there on the day to cheer you along.

Places are limited so now is the time, contact us and get started training and showing your support for One in Four.

There is still plenty of time to start your training. If you would like to take part please contact us via email.

If you have secured your own space at a challenge event you can still fundraise for us, just contact us at Fundraising@oneinforour.org.uk and we can support you.

Whatever your challenge we want to welcome you as a supporter of One in Four, together we’ll raise vital funds and have lots of fun at the same time.

There’s no minimum sponsorship commitment, simply raise as much as you can and we’ll support you every step of the way.

Create an online collection for Special Occasions

Whether you’re celebrating your birthday or have another special occasion you want to mark, you can support One in Four.

Asking friends and family to donate to support our service is quick and easy but makes the world of difference.

You can find us when you create a fundraising page on social media and our One in Four JustGiving page, alternatively contact us for a dedicated fundraising link to share with friends and family.

Memorial Collections in memory of a loved one

You can create a permanent memorial for a loved one and request memorial donations be made to One in Four via Much Loved

It is lovely thing to do and allows you to share photographs and memories of your loved one and raise funds at the same time.

DonR simplifies charitable giving by allowing you to donate through a straightforward text message.

Here’s how you can contribute: Simply text “SURVIVOR” to 70470 to donate £10 to One In Four (London). The cost will be your donation amount plus the price of one standard network rate message.

Choose One in Four as your Charity Partner

Having the support of your organisation and business, through monetary donations or through employee volunteering days (or both!) makes a huge difference to our charity and those we support.

It’s a great way to boost your company’s social impact, promote team building and support charity.

You can support us via payroll giving, match funding or hosting fundraising events.

There are many ways companies can support us, such as payroll giving, offering employee, match funding or organising staff fundraising events.

We welcome any ideas for how your workplace could get involved in our work and are on-hand to offer support and advice.  We have a presence on fundraising platforms and corporate giving and employee engagement channels such as Charities Aid Foundation and Benevity.

In return for your support, we’d be happy to showcase the impact of your support via social media and can provide case studies or facilitate a talk for employees.

There are many ways to donate to our charity and make a positive difference to those who need our help most.

One in Four and First Give

One in Four are part of the First Give Programme supporting schools raising awareness through social action and raising vital funds of our unique service at the same time.  For more information and useful tips for classes entering the programme please see our schools pack here.

At One in Four (London), we specialise in supporting childhood survivors and current survivors of sexual violence, domestic violence, abuse and trauma and raising awareness of this challenging issue.

One in Four (London) commits to ensuring we embody these principles in practice and that our donors and prospective donors can have full confidence that they will:  

  • Be informed of the organisation’s mission, and of the way the organisation intends to use donated resources. 
  • Be informed of the identity of those serving on the organisation’s governing board, and that the board will exercise prudent judgement in its stewardship responsibilities. 
  • Have access to the organisation’s most recent financial statements. 
  • Be assured your gifts will be used for the purposes for which they were given. Receive appropriate acknowledgement and recognition. 
  • Be assured that information about your donation is handled with respect and with confidentiality to the extent provided by law. 
  • Expect that all relationships with individuals representing the charity will be dealt with professionally. 
  • Be informed whether those seeking donations are volunteers, employees of the organisation, or third-party agents fundraising on behalf of One in Four.
  • Have easily available the agreed policy and procedures for making and responding to complaints regarding fundraising.  
  • Have the opportunity for any names to be deleted from mailing lists and to be informed if the organisation intends to share the mailing lists with any third parties. 
  • Receive prompt, truthful and forthright answers to questions you might have of the organisation.
