Workshops
One in Four runs psychoeducational workshops for survivors to gain a better understanding of how trauma affects their daily lifes and to learn how to manage this better by use of stabilisation techniques and other resources. By working with others who have had similar experiences it is possible to meet other survivors and gain a better insight of how to support yourself.
Psychoeducation Workshops
We run stabilisation workshops in our South London & North London centers for clients and those on our waiting list.
Our stabilisation workshops focus on techniques and exercises to manage the effects of trauma and learn how to self-regulate.
This 8-week programme gives survivors the opportunity to explore and grow in a safe and non-judgmental environment.ย There are lots of opportunities to learn techniques and helpful activities, which support and reduce anxiety, depression, flashbacks and low self-esteem.
It runs as a closed group and covers learning about your own strengths, maintaining self-care, regulating yourself, mindfulness, identifying anchors, safe places and reconnecting to life and post-traumatic growth.
Workshops are restricted to a maximum of 12 participants.
